2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) data you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the newsletter (name and email); (b) browsing data through cookies (IP address, browser type, pages visited); (c) data you provide when opening an investment account (ID, address, occupation, source of funds).
3. Purpose of processing
We process your data to: send you information about new projects, comply with anti-money-laundering obligations before UAFE, measure site performance and answer your enquiries. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your express consent (Art. 7 of the Ecuadorian Organic Law on Personal Data Protection), the performance of the service contract and compliance with legal obligations applicable to the financial sector.
5. Retention period
We retain your data only for the time strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, in any case, during the legally required periods (minimum 10 years for financial operations, in accordance with Ecuadorian regulations).
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing at any time by writing to privacy@ecaduran.com. You may also file a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption, access controls, periodic backups and annual internal audits.
8. International transfers
Some service providers (email, analytics, cloud hosting) are located outside Ecuador. In all cases we require contractual clauses guaranteeing a level of protection equivalent to Ecuador's.
